worldpeace asked: or are all currencies influenced in some way by government manipulation?
the reason i ask is that I hear a lot of complaints that China keeps its currency artificially low in order to sustain its exports. critics say that if China floated its currency (i.e. let it adjust to its true price, as determined by the market), then it would be far stronger than it is today.
that seems to imply that other Countries let their currencies float more. but aren’t all currencies still manipulated in some way by their governments?

Jamie J asked: I have some euros and krones and would like to change them into British pounds. Where should I go? Marks Spencer? Bank of Scotland? Royal Bank of Scotland or any of those currency exchange shops?
Thanks!
I mean, a place that would not charge me too much for it. Will Bank of Scotland and Royal Bank of Scotland have different exchange rates? Cheers!

proud.student asked: It is indeed amazing to see some countries can Print-Money-At-Will for a living. And, some countries(a lot of them) had to work their **** out to get world currencies!
Even more amazing is Printing-At-Will can condamn Working-Get-It for causing inflation!
Anyway: the following countries can print at will:
US
UK
Europe Union
Japan
The rest of the world, including China, had to work hard to get the above currencies.———in order to build their reserves to trade on this world!

Bill C asked: The U.S. Dollar seems to be losing value every day.
PayPal allows you to keep your money in a number of currencies, including the Euro and the British Pound.
Should I use one of these instead of the U.S. Dollar? If so, which of these two is best?
if you registered in the US, all the funds you receive and send will be in US dollars
Not true. I set up an account that can hold any of several currencies. Check with PayPal.
Now… Should I bother with the pound or euro, or just stay with the dollar?

Super J asked: Which web site can help me graph the relationship between more than just two currencies (as Yahoo! Finance can do), eg. if I want to see how the Yen, the Euro and the USD have fluctuated against the British Pound for the last 25 years?

humz asked: I’ve found quite a good one here:
http://www.galmarley.com/Chart_pages/embed_chart_large.htm
but unfortunately it only compares gold to a few currencies. Ideally I’d like one that can compare any currency to any other currency or commodity. It definitely needs to be able to compare gold at least, and needs to be able to compare over various lengths of time. Anyone got any recommendations? Cheers.
